ICE GOLEM Large Construct Hit Dice: 10d10+20 (71 hp) Initiative: –1 Speed: 20 ft. (4 squares) Armor Class: 22 (-1 size,-1 dex,+14 Natural) Base Attack: +12 Attack: Slam +12 melee (2d10) + 5 additional damage from cold Full Attack: 2 slams +12 melee (2d10)+5 cold Space/Reach: 5 ft./5 ft. Special Attacks: Breath weapon Special Qualities: Construct traits, damage reduction 10/bludgeon, immunity to magic, cold subtype Fire vulnerability Sonic attack ulnerability Saves: Fort +3, Ref +2, Will +3 Abilities: Str 24, Dex 9, Con —, Int —, Wis 1, Cha 1 Environment: Any Cold Organization: Solitary or gang (2–4) Challenge Rating: Roughly 8 (This is what I'm aiming at) Treasure: None Alignment: Always neutral This golem has a humanoid body made from ice. Its features tend to be angular and sharp. Ice golems are about 10’ tall and weigh some 900 pounds. An iron golem cannot speak or make any vocal noise, nor does it have any distinguishable odor. It moves with a ponderous but smooth gait. Combat Breath Weapon (Su): 15-foot cone, Ice Shards, freeaction once every d6 rounds. Damage – 1d8 cold,reflex saveDC14 halves Immunity to Magic (Ex): An iron golem is immune to any spell or spell-like ability that allows spell resistance. In addition, certain spells and effects function differently against the creature, as noted below. A magical attack that deals fire damage does double damage to an Ice Golem A magical attack that deals cold or ice damage heals the golem of an equivalent amount. (up to its initial HP) Construction An Ice golems body is crafted from a single block of ice,weighing at least 1200 pounds, with 2 ice blue sapphires costing at least 5,000gp forming the creatures eyes. Carving the body requires a DC 20 Craft(sculpting/carving) CL 16th; Craft Construct, Cone of Cold, geas/quest, limited wish, chill touch, caster must be at least 16th level; Price 40,000 gp; Cost 21,500 gp + 1,540 XP.
