| Vanigo02-20-04, 06:12 PM | Seems awfully weak for CR 1. A first level party could easily pelt it with <strike>the slings and arrows of outrageous forture</strike> ranged attacks. Plus, its grapple bonus is so low, it won't be able to do much even if someone walks right into it. Give it a racial bonus to grapple checks (+4 or so), and either give it some sort of camoflage ability, a ranged attack, or lower the CR to something like 1/8th. Also, what's with the -5 initiative? Shouldn't it just be -1? |
| Ogre4Hire02-20-04, 06:28 PM | Give it the ability to retract into the ground, making itself effectively invisible. After all, it always bit you from that direction! |
| Dartanel02-20-04, 07:29 PM | And what about the ones that spew slow-moving fireballs? |
| DarkSoldier02-20-04, 07:51 PM | Do you mind if I appropriate this for my Super Mario Bros. Urban Arcana material? |
| moosekickedmysisterstoof02-20-04, 09:03 PM | Well, like I said, this is the common lowly piranha plant. It doesn't spew fire like the fire-breathing kind, but I will make stats for it as well as various other varieties. I will edit the CR, by the way and make other changes. |
