| Jilocasin05-25-05, 10:49 AM | i think youŽll find a description in "lords of madness" |
| Sarig the Genie05-25-05, 11:13 AM | It's not much more than an Illithid with the lich template (and quite a few levels of a spellcaster class) |
| KobaldArchmage05-25-05, 11:30 AM | yeah- all it is is a Illthid with the appropiate levels in a spellcasting class and the Lich template(however for llithid social reasions only Arcane spellcasters usually partake of the Undeath route) The one in LoM is an Illithid Sorceror 13, However now that I think about it, in a lot of WotC published Adventures there were Illithid Sorceror 9 liches- Unwritten rule allowing earler entry into the template, or repeated mistake on the writer's part? |
| Fenrisulven05-27-05, 10:55 AM | Good timing. I was about to ask if there were any stats for Illithil-liches posted online. I'm running 10 of them as "magical minions" for a Dragon King. :D Wondering whether I should go with Alhoon or just "human" mage/psionicist liches? Also, would the Illithiad be useful? Specific powers and feats? Does it even have Illithil-liches? |
| Freefall05-27-05, 04:22 PM | The Illithiad is 2E, so none of its mechanics will directly work in a 3E game. Also, from what I remember, Illithiliches/Alhoon don't have any powers beyond the standard lich template (although they can still do the brain extraction thing, and I think they still have their mind blast). |
| primemover00305-27-05, 04:40 PM | Oh just go Psionic lich and be done with them! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! |
