Alignment Elementals? [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-12-04, 09:05 PM Quick question. Is there such things as Alignment Elementals? Elementals made of pure Chaos, Law, Good, or Evil. If not I want to make some but I don't want to redo one if it's oready been done. Makes me look stupid.

11-12-04, 10:16 PM If I understand it correctly from my days of Planescape reading, only the elemental planes and the material plane are made up of elements, i.e. elemental matter. Only the elemental planes can have Elementals and elemental beings.

The alignment planes (Limbo, Carceri, Mount Olympus,...) are not about those elements but about alignment. As such the creatures that represent those alignments are the natives (Baatezus, Guardinals,...) and such extreme beings as Inevitables. So beings of pure law or chaos already exist: they're just not elemental or "alignmental" beings.

They do exist and they're called outsiders. Elementals are beings of pure substance, outsiders of the 9 alignments are beings of pure alignment/belief.

Pure Chaos (CN) : Slaadi
Pure Law (LN) : Modrons
Pure Evil (NE) : Yugoloths
Pure Good (NG) : Guardinals

Law and Good (LG) : Archons
Chaos and Good (CG) : Eladrin
Law and Evil (LE) : Baatezu
Chaos and Evil (CE) : Tanar'ri

Pure Neutrality (N) : Rilmani

I'm looking for a big glowing red energy made of evil, and glowing yellow orb of law, and lightning like creature made of neutrul, or something along those lines. Being of pure elements. Engergys.

Well what I answered with, those races are made of pure alignment and nothing else. Yugoloths are made of nothing but abstract evil for instance.

11-13-04, 04:28 AM One thing that's pretty close is a living blasphemy spell (or another similar spell, from Eberron or MM3). That said, such a creature is a very high-level foe.
