Example: Im a low level necromancer, who moonlights as a smith. I animate 10 zombies or so, and coat their undead flesh in metal (mithral, lets say, and with joints and the like so they can move). Coming out of certain portions of this, I have blades and spikes on the metal, in an attempt to make them more of a challenge for the adventuring bastards who keep on thwarting me. What would the affects be, and is it a feasable idea? |

Restorative Slime:The undeads decaying body plays home to a mass of ooze that restores the undeads body. Granting him fast healing 2, but requiring him to eat like a living person. Consuming Slime:This slime uses undead such as zombies primarily as a means to spread to their primary prey, living hosts. When the undead atacks an opponent, they need to make a fortitude save (dc 15), or contract this disease (1d6/2d6 con). |

There should be some advantage from it being directly bonded to their bones, so maybe treat it as somewhere from chainmail to full plate, depending on how thick it was, have it count as a size lighter and have 2 less ACP and 2 higher max Dex, and maybe grant some DR (with mithral, say DR 1/- with medium armor and DR 2/- with heavy, and it stacks with existing DR). If you made it adamantine instead it'd grant DR 2/- or DR 4/-, but not have the reduction to ACP or the boost to max Dex. Steel would be -1 ACP, +1 Max Dex, No DR for medium, DR 1/- for heavy. |
| Starmage2108-16-04, 12:48 AM | since you dont have polymorph any object you cant polymorph their bones into something else (then again, theyre immune because their undead, but there are other spells like Stone Bones and Iron Bones). |
