Example: Minotaur PC rolls 16 for his strength...becomes 24 after racial adjustments. He polymorphs into a human and loses the +8 adjustment, going back down to 16. Since he keeps his own mental modifiers, he is still at -4 for intelligence. Example 2: Dragon PC who rolls 14 for con, gains 2 points for a total of 15., He turns into a human and his con drops to 14, or turns into an elf and it drops to 12. Rather than what the book would have you think, that all your physical stats suddenly become 10 or 11. It just doesnt seem right to me somehow. Would it be reasonable to glean this from the rules, and if not is it a reasonable hosuerule? |
