paolung 01-12-04, 07:52 PM	what would you all think of this: a monk gets blinded and loses his sight. he takes the Blind Master PrC and develops blind-sight (30 ft) then, he begins the Initiate of the Draconic Mysteries PrC. now, this prestige class grants "keen senses" at 3rd level. normally this is 60ft low-light and darkvision, but since the monk is blind, i'm thinking about giving a 30 foot improvement to their blind-sight instead(low-light or darkvision would do him no good whatsoever obviously). this also jives with the concept of gaining 'dragon-like' abilities (the purpose of IDM), since dragons have 60' blindsense. what do you guys think?

Dartanel 01-13-04, 04:54 PM	Since dragons have blindsense now rahter than blindsight, I'd more recommend giving him blindsense 60' on top of his blindsight 30'
paolung 01-13-04, 06:07 PM	good call, i noticed that myself... hmm... so his blindsense would extend to 60', 30' beyond his blindsight... that makes sense. blindsense is sort of like the 'low light vision' of blindsight in a way :)
