Kitsuna 02-06-05, 11:51 PM	I'm sure I've seen this, I just can't remember the book it was in..... a Squirrel ^^. Squirrel and Flying Squirrel, I can't remember which book (or was it magazine?). Any help would be nice
Kitsuna 02-08-05, 03:09 AM	*bumps, unable to get help yet* There's the Carnivorous Squirrel, but I want a normal one, like a normal one and the flying variant.......
Wayward Son 02-08-05, 09:57 AM	"Hey Rocky! Watch me pull a vorpal bunny out of my hat!" "Again? That trick never works." :D (Sorry, couldn't resist.) If it isn't listen in the vermin or animal listings in the back of the MM, I would just adapt a rat or a weasel, adjust some scores, and there you go. For the flying squirrel, remember, it's not really flight, it's gliding, so note a limitation that it has to start X distance above ground and can travel only X*2 or 3 distance before landing. I'd give them clumsy maneuverability and state that they lose altitude as they travel and cannot climb. (Of course, if you really WANT squirrels with true flight in your campaign, more power to you.)
Kitsuna 02-08-05, 04:06 PM	Yea, I know about the gliding bit. But I coulda sworn I had seen a squirrel's official stats in some book, or one of the dragon magazines...... So I'm wondering if anyone else has.
Ovistavin 02-08-05, 06:22 PM	The Flying Squirrel is in the Class Acts section of Dragon 327.
Kitsuna 02-08-05, 09:09 PM	*huggles* Thank you ^^. Now I just gotta figure out how to get that issue *Goes to pester DM*
