An end to an agruement [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-09-05, 12:57 PM My roommate and I were arguing over the squip. He swears up and down that there is a creature from 2nd edition, but I have never heard of it. Anybody heard about it?

08-15-05, 08:59 AM Not a yellow rat. I recall a small airborne squid like varmint being discussed before the beer over took me. The creature did not pose any actual threat, per se, it was just annoying.

08-15-05, 10:42 AM As I understand it, the squip was primarily used to **** off people. Such as, a barbarian with a mild magical talent woud summon a squip to start a barroom brawl. The little varmint (noun: country usage-- an animal, size of a dog or smaller) flies and latches onto a body part of a passing person. The squip has no bad effects, it is just annoying. The barbarian would then try to remove the critter and would then start the fight.

Whereas I figured (at first) that "agruement" was a pun on the Grue.
You are likely to be eaten by a Grue.
