An undead Undead? [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-25-07, 06:57 AM I've had a thought about an undead that has a limited [un]life span. It can become a different kind of undead once it meets a specific condition. Otherwise, it will end.

Are there any rules on removing a template and replacing it with another?

(I haven't gotten as far as statting the creature since I am currently trying to work out the kinks, but I will post it once completed.)

Yes. Just remove the existing template, replace with another template and cook up some fancy backstory.:)
