| NightScreamer2006-09-04, 03:34 PM | What creatures in the MM have ancient grudges against eac other? Like the Elf and the Orc, or the Blink Dog and the Displacer beast? |
| ieattrollsforbreakfast06-09-04, 04:53 PM | The Gith races hate the Illithid. Good outsiders hate evil outsiders and vice versa. Demons hate devils and vice versa. Thats all I can think of now. |
| The_other06-09-04, 05:15 PM | gnomes and kolbolds frost giants and white dragons silver dragons and red dragons giants and dwarves drow and elf Slaad and Inevitable |
| Shemeska the Marauder06-09-04, 06:27 PM | Originally posted by The_other Slaad and Inevitable Slaad and Modrons don't care for each other. Inevitables don't give a flip for anything outside of the mission that they're programmed for at any given moment. They're constructs, not outsiders. Modrons are the exemplar outsider race for Mechanus. Not formians (native to Arcadia and transplanted very recently to mechanus when the Harmonium shifted the lower layer of Arcadia to Mechanus), and not Inevitables (servants of lawful deities and specific laws at their creation, not law in general as an abstract concept). *steps off the soapbox* Most of the 'ancient grudges' pale in comparison of course to the Blood War between the Tanar'ri and Baatezu (with the Yugoloths playing both sides for fools and keeping the war going by balancing the two sides against one another) |

| Ogre4Hire06-09-04, 11:12 PM | Originally posted by The_other i feel stupid :( Well, it's an understandable mistake if you don't have much experience with Planescape. |
| cwslyclgh06-10-04, 01:18 AM | from previous editions (might not still be relavent) I know that Hobgoblins used to attack elves on sight... Kobolds and Gnomes hated each other |
| Mantel_DeMenglamaar06-10-04, 05:46 PM | Remhorrazes and Frost Worms have it in for each other I think. Red and Gold Dragons obviously... Sirrushes (from the Epic Handbook) attack Dragons. If memory from previous editions serves tho, Dark Creepers and the like used to like targetting humans over all others, I might be thinking of another race though. And lets not forget one from Spelljammer :D Neogi HATE Drow :D Drow HATE Neogi! :D |
| forgotten_agAin06-10-04, 08:42 PM | Everything hates the tarrasque, tarrasque hates everything:D |
| Quetzi the Conquistador06-10-04, 09:12 PM | Tarrasque isn't intelligent enough to hate, it operates by raw instinct. And most people wouldn't even know it existed and couldn't hate it. |
| Feathercircle06-10-04, 09:59 PM | Actually, pretty much everybody hates the neogi, except mind flayers. Even the arcane won't trade with them- the little buggers have to use the illithids as a go-between (which means the 'quids can pretty much dictate their own prices...). |

The Tso can tolerate the Neogi just fine. They just think of them as bumpkin cousins, ripe for abuse. ;D |
| Sarig the Genie06-11-04, 12:22 PM | Djinni and Marid's have no love towards Dao and Efreeti. And vica versa. (also it's easier to just say that cromatic dragons and metallic ones hate each other, than listing all possible combinations ;) Oh and, Beholders pretty much hate everything ;) |
| Mantel_DeMenglamaar06-11-04, 02:32 PM | Originally posted by Sarig the Genie Oh and, Beholders pretty much hate everything ;) Including themselves :D |
| Mithral Icesilver06-11-04, 03:50 PM | You mean including other beholders. |
| Sarig the Genie06-11-04, 04:01 PM | I have no doubt they hate their own reflection too (; |
