Animal saving throws [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-15-05, 08:26 PM How are saving throws for animals caclulated?
The Raven has a +2 Will save that can be explained
by it's 14 wisdom, but it's contitution is only 10, but
it's Fort save is also +2?

11-15-05, 08:48 PM Saving throws are calculated the same for everything - animals are no different. Does the raven have the Great fortitude feat? Does it have something else in it's description that could give it a bonus to Fortitude?

Also, there are numerous stat errors within the MM series of books. The most common of which seem to be animal skills and saves. So it is very likely just a typo or design flaw.
