another lycan Q. [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-17-07, 10:51 PM at what point does the +2 con, DR and everything else get added to the afflicted? next full moon? the MM says the symptoms will appear then, but what constitutes a symptom? im guessing that the character in my game is only going to get all of the benefits of being a were tiger after the first time she changes.

02-17-07, 11:21 PM I've always seen it as meaning that the character is completely unchanged until their first transformation, then, as they transform, they gain the HD, scent, low-light vision, +2 Wis, and Iron Will feat during that standard action. The ability score bonuses other than the Wisdom, as well as the DR, only applies to a were- in hybrid and animal form, not humanoid form.
