10-17-06, 04:46 PM what if you got infected, with lycanthropy, by an animal with the Titanic template... that was currently affected by the Reduce Animal spell?

can you actually gen infected by the animal? since it would fall into the approriate size range while reduced.

i assume your animal form would be the full sized animal.

10-17-06, 04:49 PM I'm not sure but I think that the animal and hybrid forms would be the size of the titanic creature. However that would be huge LA and hit dice addition.

10-17-06, 08:44 PM yeah animals do.... how you you think you make the other were-creatures..... it can be applied to any omnivorous or carnivorous creature within a specific size...

i thought of making a dingo (obviously use the dog stats) that got infected gain the titanic template get shrunk and bit someone...... :-D

There are so many rules you're breaking there.

Reduce Animal doesn't even work on Gargantuan animals. Read the spell again.

Animals don't cause lycanthropy. You're confusing the making of the template vs being infected with the curse that adds the template. A Humanoid or Giant natural Lycanthrope can inflict others with the Curse of Lycanthropy. There are not animals running around spawing other lycanthropes.

The DM may use the template to create a new Lycanthrope templates if he/she wants to. Using a Titanic dog as the base animal would be a mistake obviously.

10-18-06, 12:00 AM welll i was seeing if other people thought that could happen.... i realize dingos dont NORMALLY transmit the were-dingo lycanthropy..... just theres potential they can. do you see what i was asking about? i wasnt focused on the rules this time... for once ;)
