| JiCi02-11-06, 07:31 AM | I'm going to set up to my party an encounter with a baby dragon turtle, as a peaceful meeting not a fight. Yet I'm having trouble on how decreasing the original dragon turtle into a infant. Can someone help me ? Thanks in advance. JiCi |
| Radijs02-11-06, 07:54 AM | There's no ready template available. But I'd reduce its HD to 3, its size to medium or small (with the associated modifiers on STR CON DEX and attacks). Decrease its breath weapon to a 10 or 20 foot conus. That would probably work quite well. |
| RavinRay02-11-06, 05:13 PM | There's a PDF from Fantasy Flight Games that has a template for juvenile magical beasts. It can be adapted for any monster type. It's the Monster's Handbook Bonus Chapter (http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/PDF/llmhpreview.pdf). It's 3.0, not 3.5 but requires only a few tweaks if any. |
| MrAdam02-13-06, 02:30 PM | In Goodman Games "Book of Templates" there is a whole chapter on diminishing monsters, in which exists the "small" template, usefull for both baby monsters, and deformed pygmy mutants! |
