Any body know about half devils? [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-31-04, 12:47 PM I created a half devil/half human character not long ago and i need to know if there are any special rules that would apply to her.:confused:

01-31-04, 12:59 PM Well aside from what the template does then no. And it is half fiend. That is unless of course you too had it with the generic template and made a specialized one.

Also the character is considered four levels higher than normal for xp needed to level.

Beyond those concerns then no. However I would expect the DM to use this as a heavy handed plot device at least once.

01-31-04, 05:37 PM No. There are some specifics that come in if you're half-tanar'ri (namely that you're an alu-fiend or a cambion), at least according to planescape, but I've never heard of a specific half-baatezu in planescape or any other setting, so I would just use the half-fiend template. For extra customization, have all demons consider the character to be practically a devil and attack her on sight. She doesn't need to get any special benefit from the devils, just that tanar'ri hate her.
