Surely, they're not inappropriate from wyrmling on. Thanks for any guesstimates other's might have. I've never been too good at placing these things. |
| SpellBinder03-28-04, 11:17 PM | I don't have my Draconomicon (or any of my other books) handy for comparison at the moment, but I'd have to place my first guesses at a LA for these dragons to start off a bit high, and to just go up from there. Wyrmling (4 HD): +5 or +6 Very Young (7 HD): +7 or +8 Young (10 HD): +9 or +10 Now before people start wondering why I think that highly for a level adjustment, consider that this dragon is a sorcerer right from the egg, has an impressive save vs. poison, and has better SR at this early age than most that just gets better against lower level magic before the dragon even reaches juvenile age, SR 30 vs 1st-4th level magic at young; almost all low level casters won't break this. Depending on the magic level of the campaign, I think the CR might need to be tweeked a bit. A lot of wizards will probably have a hard time with these dragons for the posted CR numbers. |
