Redginald 06-14-06, 04:38 AM	You can start by using the statistics of the nightmare, cauchemar in the MM, change its hoove attacks and bite with a gore attack. Give it the special attack of the rhino: powerful charge. Change its feats: run, track and improved initiative into more bull-like feats (impr bull rush for example ). Change its flaming hooves special attack into flaming gore attack. And to compensate for loss of attacks, give it improved natural attack as a bonus feat.

Also, remember the Gore will be a primary attack so the bull gets 1-1/2 strength mod on damage. I'd improve its Natural armor by about 2 more points aswell. Increase Strength by 4 points and decrease Dex by 2 and Increase Con by 2.

cwslyclgh 06-14-06, 11:14 AM	take the base stats of a Gorgon, add the fire subtype, and make it deal 1d6 extra fire damage per hit, change the breath weapon so that it turns people to molten stone (Making them harder to recover)... dscribe it as being on fire, increase CR by +1 for the changes, then add the half-fiend template (which will increase the CR by a bit more) and voilla, burning bull outsider thing. Edit: to make it huge size, simply double its HD and increase the size catagory by 1, this will increase CR a bit too.

Whisper_Swiftblade 06-14-06, 08:31 PM	I've got no problem with the movie, I am just suprised they would make a live action one because for one it is kind of old, and for two it was never realy that popular (unlike LoTR and Narneia) that I am aware of at least.
primemover003 06-14-06, 10:11 PM	Yep Peter S. Beagel has been shopping TLU around to studios. IMDB had a page up on it but it seems to be down. Christopher Lee and many of the original voice cast were pretty interested in giving it another shot (Renee Auberjonois and Mia Farrow declined). IMO the movie can't be done if Christopher Lee isn't King Haggard. As for the book it's just as much a classic as LotR or Narnia... it's probably found on most top 10 fantasy book lists.
