Any template reccomendations [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-14-04, 09:48 AM My character is a half elf with a super high charisma and I was looking for any non-evil templates to add to him to boost his cha even higher and possibly add any special abilities based on cha. Please name the book and name of any template that does such.

09-14-04, 10:06 AM Well, two spring to mind, both from issues of Dragon magazine:

#321; pg 74.
"Radiant Creature" template, LA +3
- gives a bunch of stuff, including +4 to DEX and +6 to CHR.

#313; pg 95.
"Half-Nymph" template, LA +2
- some nice stuff (such as a lesser version of Awesome Beauty), and the following stat increases: DEX +2, INT +2, WIS +2, CHR +4.

Half-Nymph sounds like the type I'm after. Unfortunately, I'll have to check to see if my friend has those issues because I only have books. :)

09-14-04, 10:35 AM Paragon template gives you +15 to all stats, among other things... <.<;; For a measly +15 LA... hehe...

Half-Celestial?

+4 to Cha,to increase the DC of its Cha based abilities.

The Epic Handbook...but like green yawgmoth said, it's like an LA +15!

09-14-04, 11:40 AM Well we are using gestalt leveling since it is only one dm and two players.

Not sure how well LA translated into gestalt since you are still gaining HD, skills, and feats from your one class.

The dm is letting my friend be some werecreature that's going to take war hulk, so i can't let myself be outdone. :D :D :D

Epic Level Handbook p. 209-210

Adding the Paragon Template adds a great deal more than stat increases though... ie.... max HP plus 12 hit points per HD.... triple speed.... plus a possible 29 AC bonus... +25 on attack rolls.... +20 on damage rolls (for melee or thrown weapons).... Fast Healing 20...........just to name a few..........
