Hi everyone , i was wondering if there were any templates that can turn a humanoid into a monsterous humanoid besides anthromorphic creature? I'm hoping for one which doesnt change the physical appearance as much as anthromorphic creatures does but i doubt i find it.

thanks in advance :)

Tauric, IIRC. Doesn't help you much, though. Feral does, but it's pretty broken.

Very rare are the templates that cause such a change but show little or no difference in appearance. Since merfolk are classified as "humanoid", I think your best bet would be to just change the creature type.

Well the whole idea Is that the creature has monstrous features, otherwise they would not be monstrous.

Thanks for the help so far! The feral template is a no go since its very unbalanced in my opnion, altough if it ever gets errated, then it would be a good choice. And tauric, hmm its physical similiar to the anthromorphic template at times, but i think on it since maybe i can make a fun hybrid out of it whose upper body still looks humanoid.

heh i know,i was just hoping i can find something that doesnt change the base creature too dramatical. Such a template's existance is doubtful so im just trying to find out every template that can change one into a monsterous humanoid and will probably pick the one i like best. I favor a template that makes the base creature look mostly humanoid, like a human with physical changes (claws, color change, non drastic change of body shape ,etc.) instead of a hybrid of two creatures (anthromorphic, taurin, etc.) but not sure if i can find anything,so im considering any template.

The best I can think of is two-headed, but that's pretty noticable.
