| Atolm01-03-07, 07:17 PM | http://123pichosting.com/images/9008Thessalogian.jpg Its a "horse" from the Christian Bible's Book of Revelation...I drew up my own, becasue there seem to not be many or any pics of one... In anycase, I drew it up a while back, and am now looking to update it. then I thought it could be used in D&D, seeing as most of the judeo-christian creatures are not really in D&D. So does anyone want to stat it? I would think it would help if you have some background in knowledge of the book of Rev. Thanks in advance |

So does anyone want to stat it? I would think it would help if you have some background in knowledge of the book of Rev. Thanks in advance Well, judging by the illustration... 1) Intelligent creature (Magical Beast, perhaps.) Got this idea from it's distinctive humanlike face. 2) Breath attack, judging by the smoke coming from it's nostrils. 3) Large creature, as a horse would be. 4) It's got a snakelike tail. Give it a Tail Whip, or possible a Constrict? |
| Raptorial01-04-07, 01:08 AM | I'd vote that snake would have a venomous bite. |
| Tiarn01-04-07, 01:56 AM | Is that one of the horses the Horsemen of the Apocalypse ride? I think it would definitely have a breath weapon. Most likely magical beast. Probably a fly speed if it was one of those horses. I'd say some sort of damage from touching it, like acid damage on their hooves or something similar. (Acid damage doesn't have to be liquid acid that gets on you, anything corrosive could do the same thing). Hope that helps some. :) |
| Raptorial01-04-07, 05:04 AM | No, I think that's supposed to be one of the army horses. |
| Atolm01-04-07, 03:45 PM | Aye, the horses are supposed to have a breathweapon of fire, and possible roar too. they are ridden by apocalyptic riders as well. Dunno what CR they would be most likely Epic or something similar. Unfortunately there is not much to go on :( They are composed of a horse or horse-like body, with a serpent or snake for a tail, and a a lion's or lion-like head. once again thanks for any and all help on this |
| Secrets Untold01-04-07, 05:56 PM | No offense, Atolm, but it looks like Lewis Caroll and Dr. Suess went to a bar together, got drunk, and started drawing. :P EDIT: I'm not insulting your drawing talents, it just seems a little comical, (read: disturblingly hilarious) and it seems to be what they'd come up with. |

LOL...I didn't create it mate, I just drew it...and actually I find it no different than the Chimera (not the D&D one, but the actual greek one)... |

| Atolm01-04-07, 08:26 PM | *blinks* Where in the Bible be that thing? Book of revelation in the new testiment it comes in at the 6th seal I think |
| Silverthumb12801-04-07, 08:35 PM | Wow, freaky. I like how thin the legs are, while the belly is still a little bloated. Kinda reminds me of the Hungry Ghosts of Buddhist mythology, who have fat, bloated bodies, but wire-thin necks. Unfamiliar with the creature itself, though. |

| The Vorpal Tribble01-05-07, 04:28 PM | Thanks mate Anyone? All the creatures in Revelation were symbolic images, such as the golem-like fellow that was part brass, part iron, with clay feet, etc stood for the types of kingdoms , built upon the weak foundation (the feet), etc. So reading about them won't help much as they weren't really 'creatures'. However, if I can actually find the exact place where this thing is I might have some fun with it. |

| Cryforge01-06-07, 03:14 PM | The Shedu from Fiend Folio bears a striking resemblance, although the Shedu has wings. And isn't evil, as I assume this thing would be. Though I must admit, SHedu is close in looks. |
