I need help deciding on a fitting look for a housecat with the Arachnoid template (Underdark)

It would have the tufts of hair a spider has, 4 extra legs, 6 extra eyes, a mouth with prominent fangs and a cruel temperment (since it's Neutral evil)

Who here has good tips of describing it to my players?

Hows this?

-=-=-=-=-

You hear a hiss and a horrible looking creatures scuttles across the wall...

It appears vaguely as a burly tomcat though seems to have an excess of body parts and stiff, dark brown fur with strange patterns of lighter shades forming lines and triangles that no feline ever had. It seems greatly elongegated in the rearmost regions, so that an extra two pairs of legs have had room to grow, though the tail is bobbed. Each leg is double jointed and slightly longer than seem right, ending in normal cattish pads hiding retractible claws.

The head is a bit large, covered with golden slitted eyes that glare with a haughty malevolence and smug amusement. Extremely long whiskers grow in clumps about the face, particularly around the eyes, that twitch and grasp like living creatures or perhaps prehensile tentacles of the most delicate make. The ears however seem somewhat atrophied and are bit mere flaps to the sides of its head. Dark black fangs protrude lengthily from its uhinged looking mouth, with bloated cheeks hinting at even more horrendous cutlery within.

That's a superb description Vorpal :w00t:, do you mind if I adapt most of it to use in my campaign?

Excellent as usual, Tribs. In other news, I am back from my mysterious leave of absence.

Yeah, they do pay people to write descriptions after all. We're on a D&D board based off of the very books where material like this can be found and appreciated too

Well, unless you are publishing or in some way getting money for your stuff I'll write up any descriptions you like free of charge. Only takes a minute or two.

Now, who is this 'they' who pay? :plotting:
