Anyone know about Drucula? [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-23-03, 11:13 PM I mean anyone know about Dracula's hp, attack, ac, special attack, damage, sepcial qualities, abilities, skills, feats and speed?
and Grim Reaper(Death). Yeah I know is from Castlevania. Castlevania is one of mine favorite game.

Anyone know??

06-24-03, 12:37 AM No official WotC source has made Drac's stats. But, if you want to give it a whirl, look at the Vampire Lord template WotC put out on the web. It's an additional CR+3 template you can stack onto a Vampire (total: CR+5). They've also alluded to Dracula being the Devil in some games, so I'd give him some fiendish stuff while you're at it; start with the Half Fiend template, then pick and choose special funk from all the Demons and Devils, and also make up your own unique stuff. And Drac likes to assume his "true form" in most games, so remember that.

Death... hmmm. In the Castlevania games, Death/Grim Reaper is always Dracula's right hand man and thus a little less powerful. But that seems counter intuitive to me. We're talking about the God of Death. A few ideas come to mind. Make him:
a) an actual Deity, divine rank 0-5
b) a high level Liche Cleric
c) a unique, powerful undead with special necromantic powers
d) just like the Magister, have him be some powerful guy that got a cool template... the "Lord of Death" or something
e) all of the above.

Hope this helps. For a short while, I tried running a Castlevania campaign. It had firearms and the famous families weren't truly human but a new race very similar to human call "Hunter". They hailed from all over the world and each hunter family bloodline had their own favoured class and weapon.
Belmont. English. Paladin. Morning Star.
Belnades. Italian. Sorcerer. Staff.
Fernandez. Spanish. Cleric. Rapier.
Schneider. German. Ranger. Longsword
Graves. English. Fighter. Whip Dagger.
Renard. French. Rogue. Pistol.
Baldwin. North American. Druid. Musket.

I set mine about 1750s. My campaign started in Paris and was to eventually lead to pre-Revolution, Colonial America but we never got that far. Too bad; I had this Ranger type Baldwin made up (picture Daniel Day-Lewis's Hawkeye character from "Last of the Mohicans").
