Anyone remember Bargle's "Living Statues?" [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-10-07, 08:42 AM From the D&D Basic Ruleset (the Red Book?).

In the Dungeon Masters Rulebook, there were mosnters called "Living Statues".

Three of them I believe.

Anyone rememeber them and there abiltities and stats?

I recall that one could squirt magma from it's fingertips and if you hit another one your weapon could get stuck.

Crystal, Iron and Rock. I recall the Iron one could absorb steel etc... and the Rock one was full of hot magma.

I think any book will give you better golems.

Yeah, but we were having an "old school" moment and were keen on playing through the adventure found in the Red Book Dungeon Masters Rulebook.
