| Goof02-11-08, 01:58 PM | Has anyone used the monsters Derro (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/derro.htm)? I got some questions: How did you play them? Did you give a chance for people to know what they are, or tell them "looks like a gnome/dwarf" routine? What spells did you give the lvl 3/8 sorcerers? While I do have ideas and such, I'm trying to fish for more, or better ones. |
| Wight_Chocolate02-11-08, 02:28 PM | I suspect most people don't. Of all the content in the Monster Manual, the Derro entry strikes by as the most "meh" by far. There's no picture, there's no real info apart from the crunch and there's not a lot there that makes them anything other than some generic race of nasty people. They're just evil gnomes with a madness gimmick. |

| Goof02-11-08, 03:52 PM | I know, I aggree completely, not even a picture! But they fit pretty well, and can be fun for me as a DM to use. A whole race of pinki/brain, or what ever. Not to mention they fit best for where I am using them. I could still use Formian insted, but it wont be nearly as fun. |
