For instance is it legal to create an 8th level sorcerer with psionic-template, making it effectively CR 11 but able to cast as 8th sorcerer and can cast 9th level psi power at will ? This seems extremely overpowered ? Or is it just this particular template that's out of bounds ? Regardz...
ieattrollsforbreakfast 01-14-04, 06:06 AM	As a DM, you can do absolutely anything you want to NPC without worrying about ECL or anything like that, just the CR. There is absolutely no reason at all why you cant apply templates to NPCs, afterall that what they are for in the first place. On that particular one, I'm not sure about it since I dont have that templates, but there is no reason not to use the templates unless it says you cant apply it to sorcerers for some reason.
