I am playing a mounted combat character in a drow campaign. I am 7 fighter/ 2 kishi charger/ 4 blackguard. I get the blackguards fiendish servant next level and am looking for mounts that could work in the underground as well as the surface. Right now I split my portion of the loot for a nightmare, though do not know if the GM will let the nightmare count as the fiendish servant. So I am trying to see what type of mounts are available. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Hmm...something that works underground?how about a fiendish dire badger?or a fiendish dire spider, since you are a drow that should be available to you.

Not sure about the rules for blackguard mounts, sounds like they have to be fiendish, but a Drider could be cool.

A skeletal horse should fit.

use the stats for a large skeleton, except speed 60', it attacks with two hooves instead of claws (dealing the same damage). Its space and reach are long, not tall (5' by 10'/ 5'). They cannot be domesticated. To create one, just kill a horse and cast animate dead on it. Carrying capacity; light 174 lb, medium 348 lb, heavy 525 lb. Hope this helps!

Upon or after reaching 5th level, a blackguard can call a fiendish bat, cat, dire rat, horse, pony, raven, or toad to serve him. The blackguard’s servant further gains HD and special abilities based on the blackguard’s character level (see the table below).

Basically, you have to use the horse. However, I'd say that a drow could get a spider. But a nightmare would definitely not be eligible for servant.
