I was hoping for some feedback for the following template. Artisan Golem "Artisan Golem" is a template that can be applied to any golem (refered to hereafter as "base creature"). It uses all of the base creature's statistics and special abilities except as noted here. Special Qualities: A Artisan Golem retains all the special qualities of the base creature and gains those listed below. Craft Material (Ex): The Artisan Golem is able to craft materials similar to his body material. For example a Stone Artisan Golem can craft a wall, statue, stone door, ect. When making a craft check with the similar material, it is counted as a automatic 20. The item crafted needs to be almost completely of similar material. A Iron Artisan Golem could craft Plate Mail or a Longsword but not Leather or a Bow. Tireless (Ex): The Artisan Golem can continue crafting day and night and has no need to sleep or eat. When the Artisan Golem works continually on a item it completes it four times faster than normal. Construction To create a Artisan Golem, the creator must first meet all the requirements for creating the base creature. After all requirements for the base creature are met, the creator must invest an additional 5000 gp, 200 XP, and be 9th level caster. It also requires the Craft Construct Feat, Major Creation, Mending, and Dream.
