| Sesoron06-07-06, 04:40 PM | Looking at the online d20 reference documents, the latest errata, and this entire board, I have yet to see a correction/reference to this mistake: A balor's strength score is listed as 35, or +12. His primary single attack bonus, +33, reflects this (BA 20 + Str 12 + Enhancement 1 + Weapon Focus 1 - Size 1 = 33). His damage, however, would seem to indicate a +7 Strength modifier: +1 Vorpal Longsword (2d6+8), (offhand) +1 Flaming Whip (1d4+4), Slam (1d10+7). So I'm pretty sure the actual damage should be as follows: +1 Vorpal Longsword (2d6+13), (offhand) +1 Flaming Whip (1d4+7), Slam (1d10+12). And no, I don't really think I'm the first person to find this; such a critical monster as the balor must have been so scrutinized before. I'm just making sure, since it wasn't in the errata. |
