kisnerp 05-24-07, 08:26 AM	I know these sound random, but I'm looking for a couple normal creatures which I can't seem to find in the first two monster manuals. Does anyone know what the stats would be for: Goats and/or sheep. Wasps or bees, or some other normal sized, non-magical stinging insect swarm. If there's no stats I'm just going to wing it using a slightly modified donkey (in place of the goat) and maybe a modified locust swarm.

Well, the suggestions, are appreciated but the MM3.5ed. doesn't seem to have a listing for "herd animal" in general that I can find, just specific ungulates. And there is the "summon swarm" spell, but this claims to specifically summon rats, bats, or spiders. If there's another one more specific to flying, stingered vermin I think I'm missing it. Actually I'm starting to think maybe slightly larger insects (dog-sized) might be visually cooler (and simpler since giant versions of the insects are statted out already). Maybe I'll take the standard giant bees, bump them down to size "small", and knock off a couple hit dice. Let them sting multiple times and me thinks it should make an excellent hornet's nest for the folks to stumble across.
