| Bluehero03-26-06, 05:33 PM | Aspect of DM, lesser Colossal outsider HD: all the dice at the table Initiative: It goes first. Get over it. Speed: 30 ft. , to scale (30ft. in real life as compared to the miniatures) AC:  Base Attack/ Grapple: +1 more than your AC/ automatic win Attack: - Space/ reach: 50ft/ up to your square SA: DM fiat, Summon monster, arbitary death SQ: Invulnerability, DM screen, alter reality Saves: you wish it failed its saves abilities: unlimited skills: all of them, each at +1,000,000 feats: all of them environment: Game table Organization: solitary, gaming group (1 DM's aspect, lesser and 2-6 players) CR: If you can kill this, you deserve a lot more than covered by the CR chart Treasure: everything in the DMG, and supplements if your lucky. Alignment: always lawful good (or so they say) Advancement: by divine ranks DM Fiat (Dm.)- using his amazing powers he can come up with a lame excuse to move along the plot. The effect of this is up to him. summon monster(Dm.)- immediate action, calls any monster that is a level appropriate encounter. arbitrary death(Dm.)- immediate action, target player dies somehow. no save is allowed unless the dm is bribed. if this happens, the DC is 30- the amount of money bribed in dollars. Invulnerability(Dm.)- The Dm is toally immune to all weapon damage, spells, psionics and anything else that would could even concieveably cause harm of any sort. DM screen(Dm.)- A giant screen is always in front of the dm. this prevents players from seeing its rolls and it often uses this to cheat. Going behind the screen is a good way to get yourself targeted by arbitrary death. Alter reality(Dm.)- The dm can do anything. this lets him duplicate any other ability. |

| dok03-26-06, 08:54 PM | Grudge Monster Grudge Monster is a template that can be applied to any creature, at any time. Hit Dice: As base creature, but with maximum hit points. Initiative: As base creature, but Grudge monsters usually chose to join a fight after it's started, so as to be at the top of the initiative order. Speed: double base creature. Sometimes triple. Attacks: As the base creature, but can "take 20" on any attack. (this does not generate a crit. threat, though) Special Attacks: none, but see "feats" Special Qualities: Grudge monsters often have Spell Resistance equal to 22+ party level, but only if they're used against spellcasters. They frequently have Damage Reduction 50/-, but only if used against combat characters. All Grudge monsters have the ability to teleport as a free action to just outside any existing combat, so as to arrive in time to suprise everyone. They can also use this ability to escape. Skills: Grudge monsters are able to "take 20" on any opposed skill check. Feats: Grudge monsters usually have the Improved Disarm, Improved Grapple, Improved Trip, and Improved Sunder feats. They make heavy use of these feats, stealing PCs items and teleporting away, or Sundering everything in sight. Treasure: Of course not! Challenge Rating: -5 CR. Because they were really part of the adventure all along. And if you used good tactics, it would have been an easy fight. It's your own fault for loosing, really. The DM was just playing the monsters intelligently. So there! |
| speeblefreak03-26-06, 09:27 PM | Major Artifact: Arrow-Through-the-Throat Arrow-Through-the-Throat is a +100 keen quadruple-wounding exit wound ghost touch distant shot unnering surestrike PC-bane PC-dread arrow of PC slaying. It does not need a bow; it can fire itself. It is constantly affected as though by the arcane archer abilities seeker arrow and phase arrow. ATtT is an intelligent item (Int 18, Wis 20, Cha 22, Ego your-Will-modifier+20) and chaotic evil. It may use the following spell-like abilities at will (caster level Too Freaking High): invisibility, fly, greater teleport, discern location, true seeing, nondetection. It is always affected by true strike and has contingent power word, kill and finger of deatheffects. It may also reroll any attack or damage roll as many times as it likes or force an opponent to reroll a saving throw as many times as it likes. Its special purpose is to kill PCs. When in pursuit of its special purpose, it may sneak attack as a 20th-level rogue against any creature, regardless of whether that creature may normally be sneak attacked. |

| Realms of Chaos03-30-06, 11:27 AM | What happens when someone survives the arrow through the throat? Its possable as nothing says that it is an automatic death. Are their crimes forgiven for their survival, does it turn around to nail them again, or do they gain a hefty treasure for good role-playing of their near death? What if their AC, through an infinite combo of sorts, actually dodges the arrow? What happens when they use planeshift (you forgot to include greater planeshift under its spell like abilities, perhaps to give them a chance)? What happens when it becomes lodged in someone's throat and the pcs drag it off to be destroyed? What happens when it flies into a sphere of anhilation that a pc uses as a sheild? There is so much wrong with your arrow but I love it just as much. :D |
| pileobone03-30-06, 11:39 AM | Natural 20 Cha Cha [DM] Prerequisites: Must be owner of a 20 sided dice. Should be DM. Benefit: If you achieve a roll of natural 20 on any attack, save, or skill check for a DM controlled creature or character you may immediately halt all game activity and as a full round action make a Perform(Cha Cha) check. Any players witnessing the Cha Cha must make a Fortitude save with a DC equal to 30 + the results of the Perform(Cha Cha) check or be nauseated for the duration of the Cha Cha, and for 1d4 minutes afterward. Special: Players may attempt this action, but doing so invariably results in a loss of turn, xp, or character as the DM exacts divine retribution for his humiliation. |

What happens when it flies into a sphere of anhilation that a pc uses as a sheild? It's a major artifact and therefore can't be destroyed except by one method only the DM knows (and he/she's definitely not telling). I also made it exit wound so it can't lodge in the throat. If they use plane shift, it will use plane shift and greater teleport to catch up. I also gave it a reroll ability. |
