ImmortalBlueMage 05-24-04, 05:49 AM	There's a PC in my group right now who is a 9th Level Monk. During his entire career, both the character and player have been somewhat hampered by good natured but still troublesome kidding on the part of his allies regarding an incident that happened way back in Level 1. In fact, it was the very first game of the campaign. Whilst traversing some woodlands, he was ambushed by a band of Goblin brigands. He was alone, but even so, it was nothing your average 1st Level PC shouldn't have been able to handle. A series of very bad rolls led to him recieving a brutal beating at the little monster's hands though. He survived and went on to have an impressive career, but he still can't manage to shake the repuation that comes of being bested by mere Goblins. There are a lot of jokes that come up during an average session. "The Monk is unconcious? That's funny, I didn't see any Goblins in this cave..." "We shouldn't camp here, these look a little bit like Goblin tracks. Wouldn't want the Monk having nightmares again." "Don't worry Ardel, it's only a Gray Render. Nothing really scary, like a Goblin or something..." As you can imagine, both the PC and the player have developed quite a hatred of Goblins and go to any lengths to exterminate them. Which gave me an idea. According to the Monster Manual, Goblins worship a diety called Maglubiyet. A 9th Level Monk would never be able to directly confront a god or avatar, but I could still create an Aspect of the being in question, CR around 10 or so. He would get a real kick out of fighting it, and even more so out of actually beating it. The problem? I can't seem to find any info on Maglubiyet, other than the one mention in the MM. Does anyone have any idea what would constitute a decent Aspect of the Goblin god? Any suggestions are appreciated.
