This is kind of a stupid question- Who am I kidding, Its a really stupid question.
Has anyone ever used a Athach? Anyone?:confused:

Yeah, I've seen them used. Heck, I had a BBEG in one of my campaigns crossbreed them with ettins to get the 3-armed, 2-headed ettach. Lots of fun.

Athachs are from Celtic myths so they work best in that enviroment

Well, the developers of D&D used them at least once to playtest them.

Not only did our DM use an Atach after we disposed of it my Dread Necro ascended to 8th level and i animated it as skeleton under my command where in there it wrecked havoc for the longest time much to the horror of my DM
