Psychatog Medium Humanoid (reptilian) Hit Dice: 12d6 +48 (74 hp) Initiative: +4 Speed: 40ft swim 20 ft Armor Class: 20 (+2 Dex, +6 natural) Base Attack/Grapple: +4/+11 Attack: bite +7 (1d6+7) Full Attack: bite +11 (1d6+7) and 2 claws +9 (1d4+3) Space/Reach: 5ft./ 5ft. Special Attacks: Feed, mind blast Special Qualities: Hold Breath, immune to acid Saves: Fort +9, Ref +8, Will +5 Abilities: Str 24, Dex 18, Con 18, Int 8, Wis 12, Cha 7 Skills: Hide +8 Listen +4 Swim +12 Feats: Multiattack Environment: Warm marshes Organization: Solitary or pair Challenge Rating: 4 Treasure: ½ all Alignment: always chaotic neutral Advancement: --- Level Adjustment: (3-7 large, 8-16 huge) A psychatog looks like a lizardfolk only it is rounder in shape and with a more saurian appearance. A psychatog has been called the child of a barghest and a lizardfolk, but there is no evidence supporting this claim. Psychatogs live in marshes where they eat anything that is unfortunate to wander up to it. They do not speak. Hold breath (ex) A psychatog can hold its breath for a number of rounds that equals its constitution times four. Feed (ex) a psychatog eats bodies as a barghest only it increases at four bodies, not three. (See MM pg22 for details) Mind Blast (ex) Once every 1d4 rounds, a psychatog can use internal psionic powers to force it's way into others brains and back out again. (2d6 damage, Will save negates, DC 11) |
