It seems easy, but let me explain with the example of the ape. The regular ape as a base attack of +3 and 21 (+5) str. thus resulting in a +8 bonus to attacks. But the monster manual states he gets only a +7 on his claw attacks, and a +2 on bite (which is 5 less, because it is a second attack, i guess..) Where does this -1 penalty derrive from. And furthermore, if the ape would advance so much that it would get +6/+1 base attack, how many attacks of each (claw & bite) would it get? and how high would the attack bonusses be? |

The primary natural attack is at full bonus. if the monster has 2 primary natural attacks it gets 2 at full bonus. The secondary attack(s) are made with -5. If the monster has the monster feat. multi attack, it only gets -2 penalty on secondary natural weapons =P. However, monsters get multiple attacks with manufactured weapons. |
