(If this is the wrong forum for this, apologies)

Greetings all!

I have been playing an updated 3.5 version of the classic Monstrous Arcana Sahuagin trilogy by Bruce Cordelll.

We are currently in the second module (Night of the Shark) about to face the uber-monster 'The Apodalypse' an ugly creature spawned from the unholy magical blend of man and shark, yielding some sort of...'thing' that craves for flesh, gold and eating exp.

The thing is...I just can't hit the right conversion for this critter.

His original, 2nd ed stats were:

HD 13
AC 0
Mov Sw 9
Thac0 7
Attacks 5 (Maw and 4 smaller maws)
Dam 4d6/1d8(x4)
Sp Att Swallow
Magic Res 35%
Size H (30 diameter)
Morale Fearless (20)
XP 5000

Swallowed Creatures had to save against death magic or die. Dead creatures were absorbed, their remaining hp added to the apodalypse's max up to 150% of his hp.

He was immune to cold, sleep, charm and hold, and required +1 weapons to be hit.

I'll post the stat block I generated for him using an online monster generator in a few.

This encounter will be tackled by a 7th level human cleric of St. Cuthbert, a 1st Level Rogue/6th level halfling Sorcerer, a 5th level Ranger/1st level Leviathan Hunter (Aberration as favored enemy), a 5th Level Rogue and an NPC 5th Level Barbarian. Eventually, a 5th level dwarf Fighter might hop in as well.

Also, this encounter takes place in a wholly dark, underwater cavern. The Apodalypse, despite it's size, is able to slip through the entrances and attack in the tunnels of the complex he lives at.

Comments, suggestions, anyone who already played the module?
