Hi everyone. I was taking a look at fiend folio and noticed a different rule in the augmented critical. The normal critical range of natural weapons is 20/x2, and that special quality makes it 19-20/x3 ok? But in the FF, monsters that have both augmented critical and improved critical gets a critical range of 17-20/x3. Should it not be 18-20/x3, like the tarrasque? By the way if anyone knows a published template that grant augmented critical, i would really like to know wich books is it in!:)

The augmented critical ability gives some sort of improved critical range or multiplier. In the case of the Tarrasque the "natural" crit range and multiplier becomes 18-20/x3. If it took the improved critical feat the range would be 15-20/x3. Quite nasty.
The monster to which you refer in the FF has a "natural" crit range and multiplier of 19-20/x3 and then took the improved crit feat to change it to 17-20/x3 like any weapon with the 19-20 crit range would.
