Th_Ar_Al 03-07-06, 04:10 PM	Hi, it is a question (actualy two) that I need to know. Does the augmented subtype only can be used if the creature was changed by a template? A creature with this template can be a singular species (with reproduncion, life and etc)? I a ask this because of a idea for a monster, a aberration that is created using a dragon egg. I think it has enough of the two types (dragon and aberration) to be considered a "Aberration(augmented dragon)" creature =P. P.S. For the ones curious the creature looks like a ball with several wings, claws, tails (that are used as tentacules) and dragons heads.
Slagger the Chuul 03-08-06, 12:28 AM	Templates are just the most common way to get an augmented creature; you can still use it in other ways if you think it's appropriate. There's no rule against a whole species having the augmented subtype, either, it would just be highly unusual.
