11-18-06, 09:49 AM Deities and Demigods has the proxies on page 54. I'm not sure the avatars have been mentioned other on the boards actually, at least not in 3ed. I may be wrong though

Heroes of Horrors introduces a new deity called Cas and then shows his avatar, so it at least is a 3.5 version.

However, I can't figure out at all how to make an avatar even with the Deities book. How do you determine the avatar's CR for example?

Everything is so vague it makes my head hurt.

11-18-06, 10:34 AM Oh I see that now. Hmm, I dont have Faiths and Pantheons so the avatars may be more defined in that book. I'll look around and see what I can find out. The proxy rules do seem vague though.

11-18-06, 10:36 AM Dragonlance setting "Holy Orders of the Stars" has an "Aspect" template for creating physical manifestations of the god's that would work.
