| srpollard1504-05-05, 05:18 PM | I want to create an Awakened Gorilla hireling for a band of NPC villains I am working on, but I don't know where the rules for awakened animals are. Are these presented in any of the Monster Manuals? Thanks! Scot |

Add 1d3 to the animal's Charisma. Add 2 hit dice. Type becomes magical beast. If the awakened gorilla your NPC band works with speaks with a French accent and is employed by a Brain in a Jar, you're my new best friend. |

Well, he's not quite Monsieur Mallah, but I have a great model for him from the Hackmaster mini line. He's carrying all sorts of equipment. Now I just have to decide if I want give him a level or two of Expert or Warrior (maybe one of each). Scot |
