| Kapture08-12-05, 02:22 PM | I'm thinking of using a tiny awakened monster as a bad guy in my game. I was thinking of using a combination of rogue and spell caster levels, giving him larger damage potential that his size would generally allow. The problem with being a spell caster is that I would have to use still spell, at the very least, so he could cast spells. That seems like a waste of feat. What do you think? What class levels would make a tiny animal into a terrifying foe? |

| heartripper08-12-05, 05:13 PM | maybe make like make a hawk rouge/wizard/arcaina trickster eispecially if you give him spectrical hand and animate dead, since you will have to like deal with the zombie before you deal with the hawk and thats going to be tough with the spectrical hand flying around you know? |
| Izax1908-12-05, 09:44 PM | Im curious about "Awakened" creatures after hearing much mention of them on the boards. Although I think I generally understand how they work, where could I find the rules material for them? I have looked in all of my Monster Manuals (I-III) and cannot find mention of them. |
| Melpomene08-12-05, 10:11 PM | There's a classic story of an NPC epic arcane trickster polymorphed into a squirril. Bite the unaware party spellcaster for d2-2 damage, sneak attack for 10d6. |
