| Gnarl05-26-07, 07:06 PM | Hi guys, Assume I wanted an awakened warhorse as a cohort, how would you deal with this? What level adjustment should the awakened horse have? Thanks Gnarl |

So, by the rules, I'm fairly certain you'd have to be level 8 to have an awakened Heavy Warhorse Cohort, since it counts as a 6th level character. |

I was thinking about giving it a +1 level adjustment for the huge stat increase. |

If you use a normal warhorse and awaken it, there are not real huge stat increases as the horse only uses the standard array for its stats, if you use the elite array for its stats you should certainly also add a +1 or +2 level adustment. |
| Grimmsfeld05-27-07, 07:43 PM | Bah, I wouldn't even bother with an LA. It's a horse. 6 Animal HD are getting it like +4 BAB and +4 Fort/Ref +2 Will. It's not like even having the elite array is going to inflate those abilities all that much. |
