Gurthoron 07-29-05, 11:33 AM	Yes, but I do not believe a balor has the effective spellcaster levels a Solar does. Also, once you get epic the LA seems to reduce due to the large number of HD the critters have. The ELH contains examples of this. For a balor, I would estimate about a +10 LA with an ECL around 30. A Pit Fiend would be a little lower, mainly because Pit Fiend abilities are terrible in comparison.
runestar 07-29-05, 12:40 PM	I believe a solar was ECL36, so ECL30 for a balor seems about right. Its abilities are darn hard to abjudicate.
BelRex 07-29-05, 01:42 PM	Yeah, the solar is ELC 36. A balor would probably be a decent +10 or +12 character. You'd have to test it at both levels just to be sure.
