| TheCraftyPenguin04-25-08, 11:22 PM | I was just wondering what kind of damage a balor's death throes does (like fire, force, etc) Please help. |
| runestar04-25-08, 11:46 PM | Seems like unnamed. It is simply some sort of pure destructive force. So there does not appear to be any way to avoid it save for evasion or total cover. |
| TheCraftyPenguin04-26-08, 12:13 AM | ok thanks, one of my players wanted to know if it was fire damage because he has fire immunity |
| LittleCarp0404-26-08, 12:33 AM | I would say either Lawful (not sure the actual descriptor word, but same type of dmg as a axiomatic mod on a weapon) or fire/evil, or maybe a mix. THats the joy of being DM :D |
| zeratulcraft04-26-08, 12:52 AM | It's just pure destructive energy, no type at all. |
| setekh04-26-08, 10:48 AM | I would say either Lawful (not sure the actual descriptor word, but same type of dmg as a axiomatic mod on a weapon) or fire/evil, or maybe a mix. THats the joy of being DM :D Anarchic would make more sense than Axiomatic on a Balor, surely. ;) But yes, as stated, it is "Purely destructive force", and as such, irresistible. |
