Balor's low bonus damage [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-14-04, 02:35 PM This has probably been brought up before, but in case it hasn't...

In the 3.5 MM, the Balor's damage with its sword is listed as 2d6+8 and its whip as 1d4+4 and its slams as 1d10+7. It's Strength though is 35 meaning it should have a damage bonus of +12. What am I missing here? Has this been addressed or explained before?

02-14-04, 04:05 PM it appears to be a cut and paste error, because it is listed the same as it was in the 3.0 MM when they had a 25 strength (and thus a +7 modifier).
