| AndrasOtto10-30-07, 09:52 AM | The Beastheart Adept PrC lets the character call a monsterous companion much like a Druid. The companion, if having an Int of 3 or more, will gain the alignment of the Beastheart character. The companions listed inthe book are either monsterous beasts or abberations (ie worg, manticore, winterwolf, etc) The companion can also be released like a druids animal companion. What happens to the alignment of a formerly evil moster that is now released from service? Say the BHA is NG, and a formerly NE companion (say a Worg) is also now NG. When released does it revert to it's NE ways or remain NG? |
| Another_Poet10-30-07, 11:35 AM | Hmmm... I think that might be a DM's call. I would vote that the creature retains its BHA alignment (at least at first). If it goes back to living among others of its kind it might slip back to evil, though. I can see some huge roleplaying opportunities here. "I will convert all the monsters of the world--one at a time!" |
