| Prator_the_Legendary04-12-07, 08:15 PM | I just think it woud be absolutely hilarious to see my PCs slaughtered by a plushtoy-esque bear-monster. http://www.rosiesmosie.com/care-bear.jpg ^It's cute, it's cuddly, and it will kill you all!!! Basically, I'm taking the base stats of a Dire Bear, and giving it some funny special abilities... What would you suggest? |
| bhu04-13-07, 04:23 AM | Are you wanting powers spoofing the original bears or are we allowed to just be randomly evil :D |
| Prator_the_Legendary04-13-07, 11:08 AM | I definitely want powers of the original bears (Care-Bear Stare of DOOOOM!), but if you have something funny to add to those, feel free to bring it up. Oh, and I can't be much help because it's been years since I watched anything like the Care-Bears... All I remember was something about balloons and being shrunken... |
| WilwarinAndamar04-13-07, 11:35 AM | I was (and still am) a HUGE Care Bear fan. The only "real" powers of the Care Bears was the Care Bear Stare. Care Bear Stare Spell or Spell-like Ability Evocation [force], 0-level Range: 10 ft. Casting Time: 1 Action Duration: 1 round/level The force of the Care Bear Stare is strong enough to hold or push back a Medium-sized creature or smaller. Alternate: Does 1d6 damage. There was also the Care Bear Cousin Call (?) in the first movie, but I don't think stats are applicable. |
| Prator_the_Legendary04-13-07, 03:36 PM | Okay, I can work with the Care Bear Stare presented there... Hmmm. Cousin Call. How about making it a supernatural ability that summons another Care Bear 1d4 rounds after it's used? |
| SpoonyBard04-14-07, 01:45 AM | Stare should have a Bull Rush effect using Cha instead of Str, and with a +4 bonus. |
