Alright, I'll make this quick (but not so quick as to not explain why): in my homebrew world I need a varient of Orcs that are are like Duergar are to Dwarves, a deep race of Orcs that are slightly tougher. Now, my initial idea was to give them a rage mechanic like a badger, getting hit causes them to rage as a level 1 barbarian. Would this, alone, be enough to up the 1/2 CR orc to a CR 1 creature? Is it too much?

I would definately give them a CR 1, at least. Falchion +6 melee (2d4+7/18–20) or javelin +1 ranged (1d6+5) is pretty scary.

Where would I find the stats for an Orog?

Just ran through Races of Faerun for the first time (so many books, so little time) and these Orogs are perfect. Kind of reverse mythology of my orcs (my orcs started in the deeps of the world and migrated out, becoming weaker). Thank you for the suggestion.

Someone wanted tougher orcs (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/races/racialParagonClasses.htm#orcParagon)?

Now orcs can come in 1, 2, and 3 racial HD variety. Half-orcs (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/races/racialParagonClasses.htm#halfOrcParagon) available with up to six racial HD! (Mix with Feral template for extra spiciness!)
