| Tasaleen08-28-03, 01:56 PM | my druid is creating a bogun so i have a few questions about them i hope you guys can help me with. 1. does the bogun use the creators skill ranks or do they have or get skill ranks on there own or at all? 2. there is an advancement section on the entry, so how do boguns advance? 3. it says the bogun is linked to the master and can convey all it sees and hears to them. does this mean the master sees and hears through the bogun or the bogun tells the master what it sees and hears? 4. do they have a base attk mod? thanks for the feed back in advance! |

The bogun is not the druidic equivalent of a familiar, but of a homonculus. In other words, it is not closely linked enough with its master to get access to the creator's skills. 2. there is an advancement section on the entry, so how do boguns advance? You mean, how do a druid makes its bogun advance? I would use the same rule as the one provided in Masters of the Wild for advancing animal companions: one full day of practicing ritual plus 100 XP per HD you add. 3. it says the bogun is linked to the master and can convey all it sees and hears to them. does this mean the master sees and hears through the bogun or the bogun tells the master what it sees and hears? The master may see and hear what the bogun see and hear. 4. do they have a base attk mod? Yep, like all creatures. It's based on type (Construct) and HD. You've got tables in the MM that give you the base score. |
