thrinidel 01-13-08, 08:59 AM	Is there an index anywhere of all the various Beholderkin, referencing products and pages that describe each one? I'm finding it rather annoying trying to reconcile them all... I have almost all of the Faerun books, and all the MMs, but it seems many different products contain one or more Beholders or Beholderkin, so having an exhaustive reference to all things Beholder-like is difficult... Great way for WotC to sell product, but not the most user-friendly approach... Just being able to have a table of all of them, with references that then vector me off to the right pages of the individual books would be a good first step. Obviously, having a single book that contains them all (a Beholder Compendium?) would be a bit too convenient, and perhaps I'd be the only one Beholder-smitten enough to buy it... ;) Thanks in advance...

And it does in fact have a lot of beholderkin. That should do. That plus Monsters of Faerun ought to have them all. Btw, I've heard rumors of some sort of beholderkin (eyeball? Spectator?) that can serve as an improved familiar and can channel the mage's touch spells as eye rays. Is that true? Because if so, that's just awesome.

dulsi 01-14-08, 05:45 PM	The Lords of Madness information is based on the "I, Tyrant" 2nd Edition book I believe. I was really disappointed with that the 2nd Edition book. I haven't bought Lords of Madness. I created my own additions to the old book to incorporate all the other information I could find on beholders. http://identicalsoftware.com/rpg/dnd/beholder.txt
